Asante Kotoko join Hearts of Oak in extending GOIL deal

Asante Kotoko have renewed their partnership contract with Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL), becoming the second club to do so after rivals Hearts of Oak.

The details of the agreement is not yet known and was held on behalf of Asante Kotoko by the General Manager and the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Yves Gyembibi Coker and George Amoako respectively together with GOIL representatives.

The club’s two year deal with the oil marketing company which was signed in May 2017 got expired months ago and agreement have been reached between both parties to continue their long marriage.

Hearts of Oak & GOIL extend partnership deal

Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) and Hearts of Oak have extended their partnership by one year.

The contract was signed on Friday, 14 February, 2020 and expected to expire in February 2021 which could see a possible extension for more years.

GOIL have been with the Phobians since 2016 when they first signed a year deal before extending to another two in 2017.

The previous deal which expired in 2019 have seen it renewed by the oil marketing company after a successful three year period in the Ghanaian market with their partnership with Hearts of Oak.

General Manager of Hearts of Oak Frederick Moore represented the club in penning the agreement together with the representatives of GOIL.

Monetary details of the deal is not yet known and should be communicated to the public by the club in the coming days.
