Varney Kamah | GNN Correspondent | Maryland Count | Mr. Moibah Barwoh, Ecobank Pleebo branch Manager As a means of making banking easier to the people of southeastern Liberia with the provision of ATM technology possible in Pleebo, Maryland County, one of Liberia’s reliable banks, the Ecobank Liberia Limited has installed ATM services in that part of Liberia for its many customers.
According to GNN Correspondent in Maryland County, to in that part of Liberia, the people of Pleebo and other nearby communities will have the opportunity to utilize this modern technology, the Automated Tellers Machines popularly known as ATM has been installed. Hundreds of Marylanders, and residents of Pleebo who attended the ceremony during the launch of the ATM Machines were overwhelmed of this initiative of the Bank for making available these modern facilities to customers of the Bank in that part of the country.
Speaking to the GNN, the spokesman of the county said, “We the customers and residents of Maryland County want to expressed our many thanks to the able Manager of the Ecobank , Mr. Moibah Barwoh , we are pleased of his professional services for always working in the interest of our People. Let God Continue to bless him as he continues to put the people interest first,” the residents noted. For his part, Mr. Barwoh said the Automated Tellers Machines installed to the Bank is an electronic telecommunications device that will enable Customers of the Bank to perform financial transactions conveniently, such as cash withdrawals, deposits, fund transfers, or account information inquiries, at any time and without the need for direct interaction with Bank Staff.
He further lamented that ATM will provides banking services to its Customers round the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year , adding, “I am very much delighted for the level of cooperation and support between the Customers and myself as manager of this noble bank, let me also applaud the management team for the togetherness.
Also speaking to reporters said, when he took over the Bank as Manager, there were many challenges, and though it wise to installed an Automated Tellers Machines to ease the bank work, moreover, he called on the Customers of the bank in Pleebo, Maryland County to Purchase their ATM cards.
