Fifth Africa Fintech Summit to go virtual

The fifth Africa Fintech Summit will be hosted virtually this year through the platform on November 9 to 12, 2020. The Summit takes place at the backdrop of the global COVID-19 pandemic that has brought unprecedented need for digital trade and finance, and positioned fintech as key to economic recovery.

This year’s summit will host over 1,000 attendees and more than 60 speakers calling in from 10 different time zones across six continents.

According to the event organisers, each day’s theme has been built to explore the new insights uncovered in preparing the soon-to-be-released Africa Fintech: State of the Industry 2020 report dedicated to the bright minds and innovations.

With a focus on the geniuses behind the innovations leading the industry, panelists include: Olugbenga Agboola, Co-Founder and CEO, Flutterwave; Tayo Oviosu, Founder and CEO, PAGA; Yemiru Chanyalew Founder and CEO Amole; Djiba Diallo, Senior Fintech Advisor, EcoBank; Coen Jonker, Co-Founder and CEO, TYME Bank;, Iyin Aboyeji, Founder and General Partner, Future Africa; Viola Llewellyn, Co-Founder and President, Ovamba and Ham Serunjogi, Co-Founder and CEO, ChipperCash.
