Graphic, Ecobank to strengthen ties

BOTCHWAY The Managing Director of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), Mr Ato Afful, has expressed the company’s commitment to strengthen partnership with Ecobank Ghana.

“In 2020, there are few new things we will be looking forward to, that is, partnerships, financial inclusion and advocacy, as these are the reasons for our existence and we believe that Ecobank will jump on board beyond what you have traditionally done with us,” he said.

Mr Afful said this in Accra when a five-member team from Ecobank called on the management of the GCGL at the company’s head office.

Context

The Ecobank team, led by the Regional Head of Corporate Communication and Marketing, Ms Rita Tsegah, had come to introduce the Group Manager of Ecobank, Ms Cristiane Bossom, who had arrived in the country, to the management of GCGL. Festival Of Plays Mr Afful said the continuous collaboration between the two organisations was necessary to improve the financial sector that had been hit by recent challenges, including insolvency, where some people lost their investments and others, their lives.

“We have a national mandate that if we don’t help develop our own people, who will do it?” he asked.

The Director of Marketing and Sales of the GCGL, Mr Franklin Sowa, urged the Ecobank team to patronise services of the GCGL for mutual benefit.

“We do a lot of printing and we also have a very strong courier service where we dispatch across the country and our customers can monitor on their phone,” he said.

He added that the company was focused on growing its digital channels and urged them to sign on to the GraphicNews App which had exciting and interesting exclusive content, including all the publications of the GCGL.
