Guinness Nigeria announces leadership changes

Guinness Nigeria Plc. has announced key changes in its executive leadership in a bid to align with the company’s growth trajectory.

The Managing Director, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Baker Magunda while announcing the appointments and movements, revealed that all the appointments are in line with the organisation’s growth strategy. “The appointees have solid leadership capacity which would be invaluable as we continue the process of ensuring our long-term growth and competitiveness,” Magunda noted.

The foremost brewer announced the appointment of Isaac Tosu as Supply Chain Director. Tosu who, prior to this appointment, worked at Guinness Ghana Breweries as the Supply Chain Director, a role he held for four years.

Also, Chinweaku Odigboegwu has been announced as the new Legal Director for Guinness Nigeria Plc. Odigboegwu joined Guinness Nigeria in February 2019, after leaving Nigerian Bottling Company – NBC (Coca-Cola Hellenic) where she was Head, Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Until her new appointment, Odigboegwu was the Senior Commercial Legal Manager in the company.

Former Corporate Relations Director, Viola Graham-Douglas resumes as the IPS, Reserve and Modern Trade (IRM) Director while Rotimi Odusola, previously Legal Director/Company Secretary now holds the post of Corporate Relations Director & Company Secretary.

Odusola was Senior Manager, Commercial Legal at MTN Nigeria Communications Limited (“MTN Nigeria”). He was appointed the Company Secretary of Guinness Nigeria on 29th January 2016, a role he will retain even as he assumes his new responsibility as Corporate Relations Director. Graham-Douglas, prior to her new role, joined Guinness Nigeria in June 2017 as Corporate Relations Director with over 20 years of Leadership experience spanning legal, finance, communications, audit and operations across various industries; and has been instrumental to delivering many successes for the organisation since then.
