Airtel Kenya petitions parliamentary committee over Safaricom’s dominance

Airtel Kenya has accused the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) of ignoring market dominance of rival Safaricom, Business Daily reported. In a petition to Parliament, Airtel has also blamed the regulator for skewed allocation of mobile spectrum in favour of Safaricom and failure to reduce the fees that mobile phone operators charge each other for interconnecting calls.
