Centum appoints new Finance director

Centum Finance director Risper Alaro Alaro rejoins Centum after being away on sabbatical leave, she takes over the role from Wambua Kimeu, who has resigned to pursue other interests after working at Centum for a total of 7 years.

She established Centum Business Solutions Ltd and served as its first Managing Director from 2014, leading the provision of business services including finance, tax, human resource management, technology, marketing, and legal to Centum and its wholly-owned subsidiaries. She served Centum as Director, Finance, and Operations, prior to this position.

“Having previously worked with Risper for 17 years at Centum, I am confident that she will add tremendous value to Centum and its group companies. Risper brings a wealth of experience and will greatly assist the leadership team in meeting our Centum 4.0 strategic objectives. Under the Centum 4.0 strategic period (2019-2024), Centum targets to enhance shareholder value through strengthening its balance sheet by deleveraging its capital structure, enhancing its cash annuity income and increasing the dividend payments to its shareholders,” said the Centum Investment PLC Managing Director & CEO, James Mworia.
