Eaagads Emerges As The Top Gainer At The NSE On Wednesday

The top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange on Wednesday was Eaagads who closed the day with 9.52 percent at the price of 11.50 shillings per share.

WPP ScanGroup was the second top gainer with 9.03 percent at the price of 7.00 shillings per share followed by Nairobi Securities Exchange with 6.15 percent at the price of 8.28 shillings per share.

Nairobi Business Ventures and Express gained 5.00 and 3.56 percent at the price of 0.63 and 4.66 shillings per share respectively.

Kapchorua Tea Kenya was the top loser of the day. The company lost 8.24 percent at the price of 78.00 shillings per share followed by Total Kenya with a loss of 8.06 percent at the price of 21.00 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket and Sanlam Kenya lost 6.90 and 2.75 percent respectively at the price of 0.27 and 12.40 shillings per share respectively. Flame Tree Group lost 1.41 percent at the price of 1.40 shillings per share.

On Wednesday, Safaricom remained as the top mover of the day after selling 25.82 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.20 trillion shillings followed by BK Group with 3.00 million shares at a market capitalization of 13.45 billion shillings.

Equity Group sold 2.87 million shares with a market capitalization of 140.00 billion shillings followed by Uchumi with 2.36 million shares with a market capitalization of 98.54 million shares.

Kenya Electricity Generating Company sold 1.61 million shares with a market capitalization of 37.59 billion shillings. More Articles From This Author
