Grace Nshemeire Appointed PSFU Chief Operating Officer

The Private Sector Foundation-Uganda (PSFU) has Saturday announced the appointment of Grace Nshemeire-Gwaku, as the new Chief Operating Officer.

According to a statement issued by PSFU, Nshemeire’s appointment took effect on March 1, 2022.

Grace joins the Foundation with over 18 years of experience in the private sector arena, leading projects across various countries; Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Cote D’Ivoire, Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Angola.

She has also held regional and global roles based in Kenya, South Africa and United Kingdom.

Prior to this appointment, Grace served as the Regional Head of Marketing, International Premium Spirits and Reserve Brands at East African Breweries Limited (EABL), her role spanning across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

“Over the course of her career, she collaboratively led projects across functions and countries, created growth drivers, developed and implemented strategic business plans and policies,” the statement reads in part.

Adding: “She has demonstrated leadership expertise and has mentored strong teams of professionals who have grown to executive roles.”

Grace will now oversee the development and execution of PSFU’s financial management strategy and secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
