Home Afrika Tops the NSE On Monday As Uchumi Leads The Losing Pack

Uchumi Supermarket was the top loser after shedding off 9.09 percent at the price of 0.20 shillings per share followed by Sasini and Trans-Century with a loss of 5.61 and 4.31 percent at the price of 20.20 and 1.11 shillings per share. Top Gainers

The top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) on Monday was Home Afrika with 5.41 percent at the price of 0.39 shillings per share followed by Nairobi Securities Exchange with 5.01 percent at the price of 8.38 shillings per share.

TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) was the third gainer with 4.92 percent at the price of 12.38 shillings per share while British American Tobacco and HF Group gained 3.72 and 2.85 percent at the price of 509.00 and 3.61 shillings per share respectively. Top Losers

East African Cables and Nation Media Group lost 4.17 and 3.86 percent at the price of 1.15 and 18.70 shillings per share respectively.

Top Movers

Safaricom PLC is still the top mover of the day ending the day with 1.57 million shares followed by Kenya Electricity Generating Company and Kenya Power and Lighting Company with 958,800 and 672,800 shares respectively.

Carbacid Investments and Britam Holdings moved 329,100 and 264,200 shares respectively.
