Kakuzi Kicks Off The New Week As Top Gainer At The NSE

On Monday, Kakuzi emerged as the top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) with 9.76 percent at the price of 360.00 shillings per share.

Sasini Tea and Coffee, and Williamson Tea Kenya gained 6.75 and 4.56 percent at the price of 17.40 and 143.25 shillings per share respectively.

Eveready East Africa gained 3.88 percent at the price of 1.07 shillings per share followed by NCBA Group with a gain of 3.57 percent at the price of 26.10 shillings per share.

The top loser of the day was Nation Media Group. The company lost 4.35 percent at the price of 12.10 shillings per share followed by Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT that lost 4.14 percent at the price of 5.56 shillings per share.

Jubilee Holdings was the third loser of the day with 4.00 percent at the price of 240.00 shillings per share followed by Sameer Africa with 3.76 percent at the price of 4.10 shillings per share.

Express closed the top 5 losers’ table with a loss of 2.91 percent at the price of 4.01 shillings per share.

Safaricom kicked off the week as the top mover of the day. The telecommunications giant sold 6.84 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.08 trillion shillings.

Kenya Electricity Generating Company moved 1.36 million shares with a market capitalization of 38.91 billion shillings.

BAT Kenya sold 1.00 million shares with a market capitalization of 31.00 billion shillings while Equity Group and Trans-Century sold 457,100 and 263,700 shares respectively at a market capitalization of 127.74 billion and 877.97 million shillings respectively. More Articles From This Author
