Kenya: Home Afrika Limited Appoints Peter Mungai as New Board Chair

Nairobi — Home Afrika Limited has appointed Peter Mungai as the new board chairperson.

The firm through a statement said that Mungai’s appointment which was effective as from 12 November 2020 followed the resignation of Peter Nduati.

Mungai previously served as a non-executive director of its board, after the appointment in 2019

On the other hand, Ndegwa had also served on the company’s board since 1 April 2016.

"The board of Home Afrika Limited wishes to inform the public of the resignation of Peter Nduati as a non-executive director and board chairman of Home Afrika Limited with effect from 12th November 2020," said Home Afrika Managing Director Dan Awendo.

At the same time, Home Afrika Limited has also announced the resignation of Caroline Kigen as a Non-executive director to the board.

Kigen had served on the company’s board since 6th June 2016.

"Nduati and Kigen have been an excellent addition to the board of Home Afrika and have added a tremendous value during the time they have been on the board," Awendo added.

Home Afrika is a real estate based in Nairobi, Kenya.

It is listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) under the ‘Growth Enterprise Market Segment’ (GEMS).

It engages in the development and sale of real estate properties.
