NMG Tops The NSE With 9.89%, Kenya Re Comes Second

The Nation Media Group was the top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday, March 2, 2020, with 9.89 percent at the price of 19.45 shillings per share.

Kenya Re-Insurance was the second top gainer with 4.84 percent at the price of 2.60 shillings per share followed by Longhorn Publishers and CIC Insurance Group with 4.73 and 4.21 percent. Uchumi Supermarket gained 3.70 percent.

The East African Portland Cement was the top loser of the day with 6.87 percent at the price of 8.68 shillings per share followed by BK Group with 4.11 percent at the price of 21.00 shillings. Unga Group lost 3.13 percent at the price of 31.00 shillings per share.

Williamson Tea Kenya and Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT lost 2.80 and 2.17 percent at the price of 130.00 and 6.30 shillings per share respectively. The Co-operative Bank of Kenya was the top mover of the day after selling 11.2 million shares. Safaricom was the second mover after selling 10.46 million shares. Equity Group sold 1.66 million shares. KCB Group and KenGen sold 880,400 and 470,200 shares. More Articles From This Author
