Safaricom Kicks Off The Week As Top Mover Of The Day

Absa Bank Kenya was the second top mover of the day with 3.06 million with a market capitalization of 57.57 billion shillings.

Kenya Power and Lighting, KCB Group, and Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT moved 930,400, 550,500, and 331,900 respectively. The top mover of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) on Monday was Safaricom PLC who moved 7.59 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.68 trillion shillings.

Absa Bank Kenya was the second top mover of the day with 3.06 million with a market capitalization of 57.57 billion shillings.

Kenya Power and Lighting, KCB Group, and Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT moved 930,400, 550,500, and 331,900 respectively. The top loser of the day was Nairobi Business Ventures with 8.66 percent at the price of 6.54 shillings per share followed by Sameer Africa with 5.14 percent at the price of 3.32 shillings per share.

Liberty Kenya, Home Afrika, and HF Group lost 4.67, 2.56, and 2.45 percent at the price of 7.76, 0.38, and 3.98 shillings per share respectively.

The top gainer of the was Eaagads with 8.59 percent at the price of 13.90 shillings per share followed by Nairobi Securities Exchange with 7.69 percent at the price of 9.80 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket gained 4.55 percent at the prices of 0.23 shillings per share while Eveready East Africa and Trans-Century gained 3.81 and 3.70 percent at the price of 1.09 and 1.40 shillings per share respectively. More Articles From This Author
