For every hour, Safaricom will be rewarding 15 M-Pesa and Business App users with a 15 per cent cashback.
This is to celebrate 15 years since M-Pesa services were launched.
"M-Pesa is turning 15 years and we cannot keep calm! That is 15 years of Mpesa that you have made it happen!" Safaricom said.
Safaricom said the cashback is to thank consumers for sticking with them #MiakaNendaMiakaRudi.
"Terms and conditions apply," Safaricom added.
The winners will be randomly selected and will get back 15 per cent of the transaction value up to a maximum of Sh1,000.
The giant telco said to increase the chances of winning and being among the winners, one has to make payments through M-Pesa.
"Whether you are purchasing something or someone is paying you, use M-Pesa and you might be lucky to be among the 15 lucky winners every hour," Safaricom said.
M-Pesa money transfer service was introduced in March 2007.
It has evolved to service more than 51 million customers and 465,000 businesses since its inception in Kenya.
