Standard Group Emerges As Top Loser At NSE On Tuesday

The top loser of the day on Tuesday at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) was the Standard Group. The company lost 9.84 percent at the price of 22.45 shillings per share.

Eveready East Africa was the second top loser with 7.48 percent at the price of 0.99 shillings per share followed by Sanlam Kenya with 6.47 percent at the price of 13.00 shillings per share.

Sameer Africa and Longhorn Publishers lost 6.10 and 4.84 percent respectively at the price of 3.85 and 4.52 shillings per share respectively.

Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT was the top gainer of the day. The company gained 3.60 percent at the price of 5.76 shillings per share.

Flame Tree Group and TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) gained 3.45 and 3.05 percent at the price of 1.50 and 13.50 shillings per share respectively.

Williamson Tea Kenya and Uchumi Supermarket gained 2.97 and 2.86 percent respectively at the price of 147.50 and 0.36 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom is still the top mover of the day. The telecommunications giant moved 31.74 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.07 trillion shillings.

KCB Group moved 1.20 million shares with a market capitalization of 111.82 billion shillings while BK Group sold 975,800 shares with a market capitalization of 14.98 billion shillings.

Equity Group and Kenya Power and Lighting Company sold 942,100 and 926,000 shares with a market capitalization of 124.53 and 3.75 billion shillings respectively. More Articles From This Author
