Trans-Century Tops The NSE On Thursday With 8.28%

Trans-Century was the top gainer of the day on Thursday with 8.28 percent at the price of 1.83 shillings per share followed by Longhorn Publishers with 7.54 percent at the price of 4.84 shillings per share.

The East African Cables was the third gainer with 6.79 percent at the price of 2.36 shillings per share followed by Standard Group with 4.55 percent at the price of 23.00 shillings per share.

Flame Tree Group closed the top five gainers’ table on Thursday with 4.20 percent at the price of 1.49 shillings per share.

BK Group was the top loser of the day. The company lost 6.39 percent at the price of 16.85 shillings per share followed by Carbacid Investments who lost 5.95 percent at the price of 7.90 shillings per share.

I & M Holdings lost 5.62 percent at the price of 46.20 shillings per share followed by East African Breweries Limited (EABL) with a loss of 3.73 percent at the price of 154.75 shillings per share.

Safaricom is still the top mover of the day. The giant telecommunications company sold 11.15 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.13 trillion shillings.

ABSA Bank Kenya sold 1.34 million shares with a market capitalization of 48.99 billion shillings. EABL, despite being among the top losers sold 437,500 shares.

Co-operative Bank of Kenya and Equity Group sold 364,800 and 300,700 shares respectively at a market capitalization of 61.61 and 122.83 billion shillings respectively. More Articles From This Author
