The cost of diesel rose from KSh 107.66 to KSh 115.60 while kerosene increased to KSh 110.82 from KSh 97.85
The prices would be effective until mid-October when the next review would take place

The DP called for the removal of price controls by the Energy Regulatory and Petroleum Authority (EPRA). "Decisions amongst them to ‘gift’ KSh 12 for every litre to private companies causing the punitive fuel costs while cartels rake super profits must be reversed ASAP and all corrupt public officials involved/benefiting prosecuted. Price controls must be removed for competition to lower prices," he tweeted.
