The Nigerian Stock Exchange ended Friday’s trading session in positive territory. The All Share Index closed at 29.616.38 basis points, up 0.21%. Year to date, the index is up 5.77%. Top Gainers and Losers

First Aluminium Plc was the best performing stock today. The stock gained 10% to close at N0.33. Chams Plc gained 9.09% to close at N0.24. Thomas Wyatt Nigeria Plc rounds up the top three gainers for today. The stock gained 8.70% to close at N0.25.

On the flip side, ABC Transport Plc was the worst performing stock today. The stock declined by 9.43% to close at N0.48. McNichols Consolidated Plc fell by 9.33% to close at 0.68. Fidson Healthcare Plc rounds up the top three losers for the day. The stock shed 9.09% to close at N4.50. Top Trades by Volume

Sterling Bank Plc was the most actively traded stock today. 59 million shares valued at N149 million were traded in 81 deals. Chams Plc was next with 56 million shares valued at 218 million traded in 53 deals. FBN Holdings Plc rounds up the top three most actively traded stocks today. 55 million shares valued at N409 million were traded in 243 deals.
