Rak Unity Petroleum’s voluntarily wound up takes effect with zero revenue in Q4 2020

WorldStage Newsonline– Rak Unity Petroleum, a petroleum marketing company has released its interim Report and IFRS Financial Statements (Unaudited) for the 12-month period ended 31 December 2020 with no record of revenue in the last three months (Q4) of 2020 compared with N844,607 million in 2019.

WorldStage earlier reported Rak Unity Petroleum’s move to voluntarily woundup activities with the appointment of Ms Chinwe Chiwete of Epic Legal as a Liquidator for the purpose.

This may have responsible for the zero revenue or lack of activity in Q4 2020.

Revenue for the full year however dropped to N1.408 billion from N4.419 billion in 2019.

The company declared N25.973 million loss for the Q4 2020 period compared with N23.249 million profit in Q4 2019.

The loss for the year grew to N63.019 million from N14.522 million loss in 2019.
