Sabena technics signs with Liebherr-Aerospace for ATR42/72-600 MRO: Sabena technics and Liebherr-Aerospace have signed a 10-year Pay-by-the-Hour maintenance agreement covering the new air management system (NAMS) component repairs for all ATR42/72-600 aircraft fleets supported by the European MRO. The new air management system developed and manufactured by Liebherr-Aerospace entered service at the end of 2020 on ATR’s 42/72 aircraft family. The regional aircraft program will benefit from this highly reliable system as it generates and enhances on-board comfort for passengers and crew while substantially reducing operations’ costs. Liebherr-Aerospace will be handling the comprehensive product support and services for Sabena technics’ operators through a back-to-back contract. The support services will be performed by Liebherr-Aerospace’s service stations in Toulouse (France), centre of excellence for air management systems, and Liebherr-Aerospace’s service stations in Singapore and Saline, Michigan (USA).

EVA Air selects Revima for APS5000 APU MRO: EVA Air and REVIMA have entered into a long-term APU MRO agreement under which REVIMA will provide Power By The Hour (PBTH) support to EVA Air’s B787 APU fleet, services include APU and LRU repairs, Health Monitoring and Spare APU & LRU support solutions. Olivier Legrand, Revima Group President & CEO, said “We are extremely proud to have reached an agreement with EVA Air, a company with very high standards of quality and service. This long-term agreement is very comprehensive and includes the use of our technologically advanced predictive maintenance platform, with real time monitoring of APU parameters, for best-in-class APU availability and reliability. The agreement follows closely our selection for multiyear A321 and A330 family landing gear programs.”

Air Austral, AFI KLM E&M in A220 component deal: AFI KLM E&M and Air Austral recently signed an agreement to provide component support for the airline’s fleet of three A220 aircraft. The terms of the contract include parts availability and repair, as well as engineering support and adaptive services management. As announced recently, AFI KLM E&M has set up a specific industrial scheme for A220 component support. Based on its current in-house repair capabilities but also on the continuous development of new repairs, these internal resources will support the growing needs of operators on this new platform.
