Chipper Cash celebrates 3 years of chipping away money transfer bottlenecks

This follows earlier rounds including a $30M series B led by Ribbit Capital in November 2020 and a $6M round led by Deciens Capital & Raptor Group plus a seed funding of $2.4M still from Deciens Capital in May 2019.

The future looks bright for Chipper customers with big plans on the electronic payments front, we’re reliably informed that the introduction of bill payments like Umeme and NWSC is in the offing, plus Visa virtual cards (these are already available in markets like Nigeria), stock trading, and a merchant solution called Chipper Checkout.
