The national carrier seeks to capitalise on high demand for Easter holiday, increase its flight frequencies from Nairobi to Kisumu, Mombasa, Eldoret and Entebbe from March 18 to April 19 with the Entebbe-Mombasa route operating two weekly flights from April 1 to 5.

Mr Thairu said the Easter celebrations are part of the airline’s commitment to enhance customer experience with unique and seasonal offerings.

KQ will be charging about Sh19,170 for a one way ticket from Mombasa to Entebbe while Ugandan Airlines is charging Sh24,860 on the same route for a one way ticket.
