Access Bank partners Emirates in ‘Fly Now, Pay Later’ service

Accra, Nov. 13, GNA – The Management of Access Bank Ghana has partnered with airline operator Emirates Airline to launch a flight service dubbed ‘Fly Now, Pay Later’ for customers.

The service, which is the first of its kind in the country, is an installment payment for traveling with the Emirates airlines from Ghana to any part of the world.

Under this new service, customers of Access Bank can roll on Emirates travel packages and pay back within 12 months repayment terms.

Mr Olumide Olatunji, Managing Director of Access Bank Ghana, said with this partnership both the Bank and Emirates were expanding and strengthening their loyalty offering in order to increase customer acquisition and provide a superior experience to their customers across the country.

He said this was part of the Bank’s commitment to deliver good services to its clients and the public, adding that, “We are very happy to be part of this service which is the first of its kind in the country.”

“This is a great step for us at Access Bank, our slogan states ‘more than banking’, we will continue great partnership for inclusive growth for our clients and the general public as this,” he said.

Madam Catherine Wesley, Emirates Country Manager for Ghana, said the Airline was continuously looking at opportunities to make their products accessible to Ghanaian customers, and this partnership was one of such ways.

“The Fly Now, Pay Later partnership with the Bank is yet another step in enabling customers to fly Emirates and fly better," he added.

She said the dream of travel could now be a reality and with this offer, "we can now bring our award winning customer experience and world class hospitality to a wider audience".

She also said that this was the beginning of innovative partnerships with Access Bank Ghana, indicating that, this partnership was a reflection of where both companies wants to be.

She said customers would gain a 10 per cent discount from Emirates, instantly when they sign on to the travel package.GNA
