Guinness Ghana rewards 2018 best performing distributors

Gavin Pike, MD of GGBL presenting the overall best performing KD citation to Kenneth Anewenah Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) has recognised and rewarded its best performing Key Distributors at the 2018 Key Distributor Conference held at Aqua Safari in Ada.

The annual conference affords GGBL and its KDs the opportunity to strategies and deliberate on a shared vision that will improve consumer brands experience for the new financial year.

The 2018 conference held under the theme, ‘Creating our New Future Together’ focused on Profitability, Productivity, Performance & Partnership will enable GGBL and its key distributors create an efficient and seamless business partnership that will create value for their shareholders.

Obinna Anyalebechi, the newly appointed Commercial Director of GGBL expressed his delight in joining the GGBL team said,"I am excited to join this team to lead the journey of creating our new future together. Our key distributors are integral to our business, we consider them partners and it is important for us to partner and ensure we deliver the best product and experience to our customers and consumers. I am encouraged by the passion and commitment we share to extend our leadership in Ghana’s beverage industry”.

To improve business performance, GGBL has strategically improved trade terms for the Key Distributors to enhance the business operating model and make them more profitable.

The annual event also recognizes and celebrates best performing Key Distributors which is core to GGBL’s purpose of ‘celebrating life every day, everywhere’.

In recognizing and celebrating the Key Distributors, three (3) categories (Gold, Silver and Bronze) were set and KD’s judged based on their sales out target, journey plan adherence, inventory and account management among others. Lesken Enterprise based in Bolgatanga, Double C Enterprise in Koforidua and Naatoa Co. Ltd. based in the Cape Coast were adjudged the first, second and third gold winners respectively whilst Eve-Asa Co. Ltd. in Accra and Emarde located in Accra were adjudged the winners in the silver and bronze categories respectively. All winners were presented with various trucks to improve their distribution and business performance.

Commenting on the awards Mr. Kenneth Anewenah, MD of Lesken Enterprise who has won the overall best performing KD two years running said “I am exceedingly humbled to receive this award for the 2nd year running.
