Guinness Ghana to giveaway GH₵1.5 million in ‘Link Up’ promo

Accra, Nov.21, GNA- Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc has launched a national consumer promotion campaign dubbed “Link Up” that will give away GH¢1.5million worth of airtime to consumers across the country for their continuous loyalty and support.

The promo will reward consumers with instant airtime worth GH¢5.00, which includes a bonus airtime valid for seven days, after buying any three of selected drinks from the Guinness Ghana portfolio of beverages.

The selected beverages for this promo are Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, Orijin and ABC Golden Lager Beer.

Speaking at the launch, Mr Samuel Dery, Marketing Manager of Stout, Adult Premium and Non-Alcoholic Drinks (APNADS) and Ready-To-Drink (RTD) at Guinness Ghana, said the company introduced the “Link Up” promo to make consumers enjoy more fun.

To win the GH¢5.00 airtime, he explained that each time the consumer buys any three of the selected beverages, he or she has to look under crown for a unique code.

He added that the unique codes qualifies the individual for instant airtime after dialling *1000*CODE# from MTN mobile lines.

Mr Dery said: “After your third entry, you’ll receive an instant GH¢5.00 airtime. You will instantly enjoy your share of the GH¢1.5 million”.

He said the promo, which takes effect from November 20, would be in motion while stock lasts.

He said: “We want to enrich their bar experiences as they unwind and catch up with their friends. We are rewarding our consumers with the talk time to enable them easily call and link up with friends for amazing experience”.

Mr Dery said the promo was opened to all consumers, but limited to MTN users due to an exclusive partnership between the Company and MTN with the aim of brining the promotion to consumers from all lengths and breadth of the country.

Madam Sylvia Owusu-Ankomah, the Corporate Relations Director of Guinness Ghana, said the Company sustained its innovation by always looking at new ways of exciting and appreciating its customers.She said the company in 2015 introduced the Orijin bitters, which had resulted in its various variants, adding that they reintroduced the ABC brand this year all in line with the 60th Anniversary of Guinness as a Company in Ghana.She said one of the ways of appreciating consumers for continuous support over the years was the introduction of the “Link Up” promo.GNA
