Police Chase Two For GH¢140,000 Fraud

LISTEN OCT 15, 2020 An Accra Magistrate Court has issued a bench warrant for the immediate arrest of Christian Quarshie and Mohammed Salue for allegedly defrauding by false pretences and issuing of false cheque.

The two are alleged to have used a fake Cal Bank cheque valued at GH¢140,000 to purchase a Toyota Rav 4 vehicle from its owner and bolted with the car.

According to their warrant of arrest signed by Magistrate Richard Delali, the suspects issued the fake cheque to the owner to cash after purchasing the vehicle while they bolted with the vehicle to an unknown location.

The suspects are believed to be hiding in areas like East Legon, Spintex Road, Mallam and Gbawe, all in Accra.

The warrant indicated that suspects were last seen at Golf House in Accra and both were both wearing shirts and a pair of jeans trousers.

The warrant requested anybody with information on their whereabouts to report to the Airport Police Station or any nearest police station.
