Top 5 Gainers, Losers And Movers At The NSE On Tuesday

The top gainer of the day on Wednesday at the Nairobi Securities Exchange was Nairobi Business Ventures with 9.09 percent at the price of 0.60 shillings per share.

Standard Chartered Bank was the second top gainer with 5.99 percent at the price of 163.75 shillings per share followed by Sanlam Kenya with 5.37 percent at the price of 12.75 shillings per share.

WPP ScanGroup and East African Cables gained 4.56 and 4.47 percent respectively at the price of 6.42 and 1.87 shillings per share respectively.

The top loser of the day was I & M Holdings with 6.52 percent at the price of 43.00 shillings per share followed by Diamond Trust Bank with 4.04 percent at the price of 65.25 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket lost 3.33 percent at the price of 0.29 shillings per share while BOC Kenya and Home Afrika lost 2.61 and 2.33 percent respectively at the price of 56.00 and 0.42 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom was the top mover of the day, having sold 2.29 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.20 trillion shillings followed by Co-operative Bank of Kenya with 1.79 million shares with a market capitalization of 69.53 billion shillings.

I & M Holdings and KCB Group sold 1.27 million and 774,300 shares respectively with a market capitalization of 35.55 and 121.95 billion shillings respectively. Kenya-Insurance sold 560,100 shares. More Articles From This Author
