Kenya Airways flight from Mumbai SUMMARY

National carrier Kenya Airways on Friday stated that it had plans to fly Kenyans who are stranded in China this weekend.
This is after a KQ flight from Mumbai landed on Thursday evening at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The airline maintained that it had instituted required measures to protect the passengers and crew through; Strict adherence to the point of entry protocols upon arrival to the destinations

CEO Allan Kilavuka echoed this statement saying there are Kenyans in diaspora who want to come home and they have no alternative means.“We are aware that many Kenyans had travelled to India for medical reasons and were stranded due to the restrictions on travel that were imposed by different governments. “We are making these flights for them to reunite them with their loved ones and bring them home safe,” said Kilavuka.Adding: “It is important that our passengers feel safe and are comfortable when taking these flights with us and we have taken the necessary steps to guarantee this.
