Delta Air Lines and Kenya Airways have expanded their codesharing agreement to cover a total of 39 cities in Africa and North America.
Per the agreement, Delta will add its code to Kenya Airways’ service from Accra, Ghana, to Monrovia, Liberia, and Freetown, Sierra Leone. Those connect to Delta’s service between Accra and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. Additionally, Delta is codesharing on Kenya Airways’ flights from Nairobi, Kenya, to each Cape Town, South Africa; Harare, Zimbabwe; and Kigali, Rwanda.
In turn, Kenya Airways has added its code to Delta’s flights from JFK to both Washington Reagan National Airport and Indianapolis. The carrier already had codeshares with Delta on service from JFK to Chicago O’Hare, Denver, Orlando, Miami, Raleigh-Durham, Phoenix and Charlotte.
Both carriers are SkyTeam alliance members.
