FSDG Releases Jomo Kenyatta International for MSFS

Following recent releases, including Walvis Bay (FYWB), Windhoek (FYWH), and Mayotte Dzadoudzi Pamandzi (FMCZ), well-known scenery developer FSDG has released their rendition of Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (HKJK) for MSFS.

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is Kenya’s main airport, serving the municipality of Nairobi and being the central hub for SkyTeam Alliance carrier Kenya Airways. The airport, situated at an elevation of 5’330ft, is located in Embakasi, a suburb located 11nm to the southeast of Nairobi’s central business district. The airport is named in honor of Kenya’s first president and prime minister, Jomo Kenyatta, and is the seventh busiest airport on the African continent by passenger count. The airport also served as a high altitude testing ground for Concorde during the planes’ testing phase.

Well-known scenery developer FSDG have now, following their release of the airport for both X-Plane 11 and P3D, also released the field for MSFS as well. Although being marketed as a Lite Version of the product, the developer affirms that the scenery provides users with an accurate rendition of the famed African airport and uses the latest MSFS technologies to include dynamic lighting and novel ground materials . The scenery also comes with custom static aircrafts usually present in real life and is said to be optimized for excellent performance and visual quality. The scenery can as of now be added to your MSFS scenery collection for the price of €14,00 Ex VAT by visiting FSDG’s product page .

It should be noted that, although indicated on the page, it is doubtful that users, by purchasing the product, will also be provided with a version of the developers Mayotte Dzaoudzi Pamandzi International Airport (FMCZ). This affirmation is likely a mistake on the developer’s part. Feature List
