Isuzu East Africa Managing Director and CEO Rita Kavashe PHOTO | LINKEDIN Isuzu East Africa Managing Director Rita Kavashe has been named as the British American Tobacco (BAT) Kenya new board chairperson.
Ms Kavashe who has been serving as BAT’s non-executive director replaces George Maina who retired from the board on Monday.
Rita Kavashe holds a long-career in Kenya’s corporate sector having first joined Isuzu East Africa (formerly General Motors) in 1995.
Ms. Kavashe is the Chairperson of the Kenya Roads Board (KRB) and a non-executive Director at Bamburi Cement.
She holds additional roles as the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) Vice-Chair and serves as a member of the Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Board.
Kavashe holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Moi University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi.
