Nairobi — Astrazeneca Company has been recognized as the top employer in Kenya in 2021.
The company has also been ranked as a top employer in South Africa this year.
The ranking follows the release of fresh data by Top Employers Institute which showed that Becton Dickinson East Africa Limited, British American Tobacco, DHL world wide Express Kenya followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th position respectively.
Other companies listed in the top 10 Kenya’s top employer include; Ernest and Young Professionals, Huawei technologies, NVS Kenya Limited, Nestle Kenya Limited, Permed Ricard Kenya and Unilever Kenya.
Being certified as a Top Employer showcases an organisation’s dedication to a better world of work and exhibits this through excellent HR policies and people practices.
The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their Human Resource Best Practices Survey.
The survey covers six Human Resource domains consisting of 20 topics such as People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being and Diversity and inclusion.
