The last couple of months has seen carrier Safaricom announce service interruptions, mainly in weekends.
The maintenance sees the telco fix some of its services, most of them surrounding the mobile money product, M-PESA.
The same interruption will be conducted tonight, but unlike other times, only M-Shwari will remain unavailable.
All other services will not be touched.
We are not sure how long the carrier is going to take to fix its house because the number of interruptions reported over the last couple of weeks/months is just too high, higher than the reported interruptions recorded in 2019 alone.
As usual, the details about the happenings of the maintenance work are withheld from the normal you and I, so all we can tell is that whatever is happening there will see an improved experience with the loan product.
Here is the official message from the operator:
Dear Customer, we shall be undertaking a scheduled system maintenance on 2/10/2020 from 11.59 pm to 3/10/ 2020, 5.00 am. During this period, all M-Shwari services will be unavailable. We apologise for this inconvenience.
