The top loser of the day was CIC Insurance Group with 3.72 percent at the price of 2.07 shillings per share followed by Kenya Electricity Generating Company with 3.58 percent at the price of 4.04 shillings per share. Nairobi Securities Exchange and Eaagads lost 3.26 and 3.18 percent at the price of 8.32 and 10.65 shillings per share respectively. Flame Tree Group lost 2.11 percent at the price of 1.39 shillings per share.
The top mover of the day was Safaricom PLC who sold 4.99 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.67 trillion followed by Co-operative Bank with 2.39 million shares with a market capitalization of 72.17 billion.
