Sell Pressure Persists as NSEASI Dips By -0.01%; Investors Lose N1.38bn

Equities market closed today on a negative note, as NSEASI depreciated by 0.01% to close at 29,158.57points as against 1.53% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -7.23%.

Market breadth closed positive as GUARANTY led 12 Gainers as against 15 Losers topped by NEM at the end of today’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.

Market Turnover

Market turnover closes negative as volume moved down by 17.95% as against 13.63% uptick recorded in the previous session. CHAMS , STERLNBANK and FBNH were the most active to boost market turnover. ZENITHBANK and GUARANTY topped market value list.
