Rukh-Shana Namuyimba ends difficult spell at dfcu bank

Rukh-Shana Namuyimba has resigned her position at dfcu Bank (PHOTO /Courtesy). KAMPALA —dfcu Bank has confirmed that their Manager Communications & Events Rukh-Shana Namuyimba will leave the bank at the end of July 2021.

Namuyimba endured a torrid four and a half year spell at dfcu Bank after joining in 2017.

She joined dfcu in January 2017 at a time when dfcu’s purchase of Crane Bank attracted bad publicity, mainly online.

She started off by threatening to sue some online publications before arrangement escalated the bank’s bad publicity.

Namuyimba was responsible for the planning and execution of the Bank’s communication strategy.

In her capacity, the bank says she supported several initiatives including Brand campaigns, Corporate Social Responsibility, Digital and Marketing Communications, as well as Internal Staff Communications.
