Seven staff of Promasidor Ghana Limited are off to Anfield, the home of European football champions Liverpool in May after winning the Standard Chartered (SC) Trophy 2020 on Saturday in Accra.
Promasidor, losing semi-finalists last year embodied the spirit of their hosts, Liverpool by claiming this year’s trophy which will see them represent Ghana in May at the Standard Chartered Trophy Final at Anfield.
The winning package also includes a four-night trip to the United Kingdom, a complete tour of Anfield, and seats at the final Liverpool home match of the season against Chelsea.
Final
Promasidor came up against Transmed Ghana Limited in the five-a-side football final which they won courtesy goals in the second-half by Bismark Nyamekye and Samuel Abekah.

Both goals came against the run-of-play with Nyamekye lashing home a long-range shot before skipper Abekah capitalised on a foray upfield by the Promasidor goalie to lob into an unguarded goal.
Promasidor defeated Comsys Ghana 1-0 and edged Aviance Ghana on penalties (4-2) en route to the final.
The coach of Promasidor, Joseph Amekudzi said his side built on the disappointment of last year to win the title.
