Ghanaian international footballer, Thomas Partey has recounted how he used to buy noodles referred to popularly in Ghana as "Indomie" for ladies in Ghana.
While speaking in an interview about some fond memories, the Arsenal star revealed that "indomie" took all his money as he had to buy it for the ladies he was trying to woo.
While recounting this particular childhood memory, Partey said he has bought so much ‘indomie’ for Ghanaian girls that he could even become an ambassador for the noodles brand.
The interviewer, Adam Carruthers, who was speaking from Malaysia indicated that his country and Ghana shared the same love for ‘indomie’ which was an Indonesian dish.
He therefore wanted the Black Stars man to also recount his own personal experiences with ‘indomie’.
Partey even jokingly said he wanted to sue the ‘indomie’ makers for causing him to lose a lot of money buying it for girls in Ghana.
"That food took all my money," Thomas Partey said amidst laughter.He went on to add that: "Indomie took all the guys’ money in Ghana. You get a new girl and they say buy me Indomie. Everything Indomie, Indomie. Why, who brought Indomie?
