BK Group Ends The Day As Top Mover At The NSE

The top mover of the day was BK Group after selling 9 million shares with a market capitalization of 16.56 billion shillings followed by Safaricom PLC with 3.44 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.46 trillion shillings.

Equity Group and KCB Group sold 2.01 and 1.35 million shares respectively with a market capitalization of 137.93 and 115.52 billion shillings respectively. Co-operative Bank sold 638,400 shares with a market capitalization of 75.98 billion shillings.

Despite being the top mover of the day, BK Group still emerged as the top loser of the day, shedding off 9.76 percent at the price of 18.75 shillings per share followed by Unga Group with a loss of 7.66 percent at the price of 29.55 shillings per share.

Sameer Africa and Stanbic Holdings lost 6.65 and 5.60 percent respectively at the price of 2.96 and 80.00 shillings per share respectively while Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) 5.49 percent at the price of 1.55 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket was the top gainer of the day with 8.00 percent at the price of 0.27 shillings per share followed by Trans-Century with a gain of 5.97 percent at the price of 1.42 shillings per share.

Sanlam Kenya and Express Kenya gained 5.68 and 3.61 percent at the price of 13.95 and 3.73 shillings per share respectively while Nairobi Business Ventures gained 3.33 percent at the price of 4.56 shillings per share. About Juma
