The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has launched an interactive portal aimed at creating a safer internet for children. The project was conducted in partnership with local telecom operators Safaricom, Airtel, Telkom Kenya and Jamii Telecommunication, as well as with the GSMA. It also has a gaming component to help everyone measure their level of awareness on online risks such as cyber bullying, identity theft and online sexual harassment. The micro-site will provide online safety tips for children and guardians.
