NBK wins three global awards by International Business Magazine

The bank bagged the awards in the International Business Magazine Awards 2021 that seeks to recognize brands achieving excellence in performance across a broad range of sectors including the financial sphere.

National Bank Managing Director Paul Russo said: “In a demonstration of our commitment to deliver superior, convenient, and innovative banking solutions to our customers, we have developed fully integrated service models that enable our customers to enjoy banking services through a wide range of channels. Our Islamic Banking and SME Banking solutions have been recognized as being the best in Kenya. These have also placed the Bank on an upward trajectory.”

International Business Magazine has also awarded NBK as the best bank in Customer Service in Kenya for the second year running.

“We are grateful for the market’s recognition of the Bank’s effort in responding quickly to the needs of our customers and offering exceptional customer services,” Mr. Russo concluded.

As part of the bank’s recovery journey, NBK has had unrelenting focus on delighting their customers by innovatively delivering value to them and their effort has been appreciated through several awards in 2021.

Earlier in the year, NBK was named ‘Most Innovative SME Bank Kenya’ in the World Economic Magazine 2021 Awards.

During the Think Business awards 2021, NBK received the top prize in the Special Judges Award for Product Innovation category; emerged first runners up in the Best Bank in Micro-Finance category; as well as second runners-up prizes for product innovation on their Till Financing proposition; and Customer Satisfaction for Tier-2 bank categories.
