Morocco, Cote d’Ivoire set up joint logistics platform

The MoU was inked by the Moroccan Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, Aziz Akhannouch, and the Ivorian minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mamadou Sangafowa Coulibaly, on the sidelines of his participation in an annual international meeting on agriculture in the northern city of Meknes.

The project to set up a logistics platform also aims to develop trade flows between Morocco and Cote d’Ivoire as well as among neighboring countries.

It is also meant to directly serve the interests of Ivorian and Moroccan economic operators, strengthen their competitiveness and promote trade between the two countries.

The 10th meeting on agriculture, which is held on the eve of the country’s International Agriculture Fair, is organized under the theme “Youth, the main engine and beneficiary of agricultural development.”
