Coronavirus scare: Full list of airlines cancelling China flights

More than 20 airlines including British Airways, American Airlines and Qatar Airways have suspended all China flights. Whereas, around 15 carriers have cancelled some China flights and routes.

List of airlines that have cancelled all China flights

1. American Airlines has extended suspension of China and Hong Kong flights from March 27 to April 24.

2. Air France said on February 6 that it would suspend flights to and from mainland China for much of March

3. The South Korean budget carrier, Air Seoul suspended China flights from January 28 until further notice.

4. Air Tanzania, Tanzania’s state-owned carrier, which had planned to begin charter flights to China in February, postponed its maiden flights because of the coronavirus outbreak.

5. Austrian Airlines has suspended the China until February end.

6. British Airways said that its flights from China will remain suspended from January 29 to March 31.

7. Delta Airlines announced the suspension of China flights from February 2 to April 30.

8. EgyptAir’s suspended the China flights from February 1 until further notice.

9. El Al Israel Airlines said on February 12 that it would suspend its Hong Kong flights until March 20 and reduce its daily flights to Bangkok. It suspended flights to Beijing from January 30 to March 25 following a health ministry directive.10. Finnair suspended all flights to China between February 6-29, and to Guangzhou between February 5 to March 29.11. Iberia Airlines, the Spanish carrier extended its suspension of flights from Madrid to Shanghai, its only route, from February 29 until the end of April.12. JejuAir Co Ltd, the Korean airline will suspend all China routes starting March 1.13. Kenya Airways suspended all China flights from January 31 until further notice.14. Netherlands’ KLM airlines will extend its ban up to March 15.15. Lion Air of Indonesia has suspended China flights for all of February.16. Oman and Saudi Arabia’s state airline suspended flights on February 2 until further notice.17. Qatar Airways suspended its China flights on February 1 until further notice.18. RwandAir suspended flights to and from China on January 31 until further notice.19. Nordic airline SAS has temporarily suspended China flights from February 4 to February 29.20.
