Kenya Airways on the spot over flight cancellation

KQ on the spot
Kenya Airways on the spot over flight cancellation Kenyans took to social media to complain over the frequent cancellation of flights without prior notice to clients.

KQ’s service delivery to clients has been called into question over what some of the clients termed as lack of organization and communication.

Adelle Onyango, recently called out the airline after her sister got stuck in Zanzibar for hours.

ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna was also caught in the mix after he spent 5 hours waiting at the airport on a trip to Arusha.

The complaints are not only limited to Kenyans but from across Africa, considering KQ is among few airlines who operate across different routes in the continent.

While flight cancellations are normal in the flight industry, Kenya airways has been put on the spot for lack of communication which ends up affecting most passengers and having to spend a lot of hours at the airport.

Among the most common reasons why flight could be cancelled include: bad weather, security reasons, lack of passengers or inadequate crew.

A plan to nationalize KQ was recently kick-started after approval in parliament but the move drew mixed reactions from the public. Court bans DPP from tweeting about this powerful politician
