Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Wednesday

Arvind Fashions, Patel Engineering, AksharChem India, DCW Limited, Centum Electronics and Dynemic Products made a fresh 52-week high today. These stocks will likely be in focus on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

On Tuesday, frontline indices Sensex and Nifty climbed approximately 0.75 per cent each to end at 59,745.6 and 17,822.3 respectively. BSE Small-cap index relatively underperformed broader markets and gained only 155.36 points i.e. 0.54 per cent. GM Breweries, IG Petrochemicals, Arvind Fashion and Patel Engineering froze at 20 per cent upper circuit each.

The following small-cap and mid-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday:

Aurionpro Solutions – The company subsidiary based in Singapore Integro Technologies has announced multiple wins for product upgrades and enhancements. Integro is a market leader in the region and has successfully implemented its ‘Smart Lender Product Suite’ at some of the largest banks in the region. The recent wins include orders from the prominent banks, with an extensive presence in the Asia Pacific region, for the upgradation and enhancement of their existing systems. These orders are valued at approximately Rs 12 crore and are expected to be implemented in the coming months.

Allied Digital Services – The company has announced that it has won a transformational five-year contract valued at Rs 165 crore from a large global manufacturing conglomerate. The company will manage and transform the IT infrastructure services including workplace services, enterprise applications, enterprise services, security and governance support. It will also govern and optimize the existing IT service contracts of all business entities and support the sourcing of new IT services.

The company has said in a filing with the exchange that, “The comprehensive IT services contract is unique in terms of supporting multiple companies as a shared service, the broadest spectrum of technologies, governing diverse IT contracts and implementing industry’s top service management processes in an integrated model.”

Thomas Cook – The company has announced that it is targeting the high growth education segment via its end-to-end range of student services digital strategy to deliver simple-swift-seamless contactless solutions. The company has delivered on an extensive student portfolio covering visa support, travel including quarantine packages, travel insurance, foreign exchange, health and safety services (i.e. COVID-negative certification, safe travel helpline with guidelines) and others.
