Afrimoney & EcoBank Unveil Push & Pull Service

Ecobank Sierra Leone and Afrimoney yesterday officially launched the ‘Push & Pull Service (Bank to Wallet, Wallet to Bank) service at the Ecobank head office at 7, Lightfoot Boston Street, Freetown

Speaking during the launching, Augustine Sankoh, the head of customer experience at Ecobank, said they are excited to have everyone that graced the occasion in the history of Ecobank in Sierra Leone, noting that they are turning another corner achieving another milestone in their digital aspirations.

He furthered that with the emergence of new technologies, Ecobank has always been at the forefront in the Banking industry in Sierra Leone, delivering reliable payment solutions and convenient channels that will not only bring convenience to customers but also bridge the gap between the banked and the unbanked thereby promoting financial inclusion.

He said on behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff of Ecobank Sierra Leone, “I warmly welcome everyone on the launch of afriMoney Push & Pull Service”.

Martison Obeng-Agyei, Afrimoney Director, said he is happy to be part of the launching, been a customer of the Ecobank for over ten years is a blessing for him, adding that they will not sell what they don’t taste.

He maintained that with the Ecobank & AfriMoney Push & Pull Service there will be no holiday, and someone can withdraw money from their Ecobank account and transfer same to their Afrimoney wallet with utmost convenience.

He said for the business people that are doing businesses in the provincial areas they should not bother to travel with lot of money with them anymore, because with Ecobank and Afrimoney they will have quick access to their money.

He added that this service is something that Sierra Leoneans need to embrace because it has lots of positive things that will help people with their business and their personal life.

He furthered that they are encouraging people to join the digital world in banking and Afrimoney to have quick access without any stress.
