Ghanaian youth need to be creative and Innovative — Nii Ollennu

Mr. Collin Nii Ashitey Ollennu , the Founder of the Marash and Kids Enterprise, has urged the youth of Ghana to aspire to be innovative and creative so as to be able to create employment for themselves and other unemployed youth.

The UK based Ghanaian entrepreneur noted that creativity and innovation will propel the people particularly the youth and fresh university graduates to better their lives and that of other persons.

By this, he added that they will not be relying on the government or companies to employ them.

"Innovative and creative ideas will afford young people the opportunity to be independent, self-reliant and serve as a source of comfort for the unemployed especially fresh graduates who are desperately looking for jobs," Mr. Olenu maintained.

The entrepreneur made these observations during the launch of the La Belles Farms products in Accra adding that the Ghanaian youth can only rescue themselves from the shackles of poverty through innovation and creativity.

The La Belle Farms is the brainchild of Madam Lindsay Afia Boatemaa Adu, a young Ghanaian entrepreneur and youth advocate.

"There is no space in the public sector to employ enough people and the only way that the youth can be gainfully employed is through entrepreneurship," he intimated, calling on the youth to up their games by conceiving innovative unique business and employable ideas.

He applauded the efforts of Madam Boatemaa and urged her to aspire for more laurels not only for herself but family and Ghana at large.

Mr. Ollennu who believes in small beginnings said his Marash entity has similarities to that of La Belle Farms because they both started from a humble beginning.

The entrepreneur who runs two companies in the UK was confident that the La Belle Farms will succeed same as he started with as little as sixty pounds and now controls Thousands of Pounds. “Same as I started from scratch and succeeded, Boatemaa and her company will also succeed.”Mr Collins Ollennu who pledged to purchase hefty consignments of the La Belle products encouraged the youth to start their own businesses no matter how small it is instead of relying on the government to employ them. “ Let’s learn to start something on our own and help to employ others to work for us," he noted.Madam Lindsay Adjoa Boatemaa, the brain behind La Belles […]
