American Enterprise Group Inc., a Des Moines-based insurance holding company, announced it recently appointed Kathy Redgate and Terry Lillis to its board of directors. Redgate, most recently executive vice president and adviser to the CEO for Global Atlantic Financial Group Ltd., has more than 33 years of global business experience. Prior to joining Global Atlantic in 2006, she held several leadership roles with Goldman Sachs, and earlier in her career was a diplomat and intelligence analyst with the U.S. State Department. Lillis, who retired from Principal Financial Group in 2017 after 35 years with the company, was most recently Principal’s executive vice president and chief financial officer. “The Board considered a number of highly qualified candidates and determined the knowledge, experience, and strategic insights that both Kathy and Terry could provide were an excellent fit for our company,” American Enterprise CEO Tom Swank said. “We look forward to leveraging their insights and expertise to help us to continue to transform and grow our business.” American Enterprise also released its 2019 annual report, which can be found here.
