Legendary Ghanaian rapper, Kwame Nsiah Apau, popularly known in the music industry as Okyeame Kwame has given his reason why he made his beloved wife, Anica Nsiah Apau his manager to his music career.
In an interview with Agyemang Prempeh on TV XYZ, the “rap doctor” revealed that his wife is very experienced in the management field and that was why he decided that she manages his talent in music.
“My wife is my manager. For about a decade my wife is my manager,” he said, adding, “My wife has worked in the makerting and branding space for a long period of time. She has had stints with Guinness Ghana Breweries, and Unilever Ghana Limited.” he said.
“As well as the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) legal department. She’s a legal and marketing background. If these combined she’s to be the one to manage me,”
He added.
He also went further to commend his team for working tirelessly to promote his brand and supporting him even in tough times.
“I have about a 12-member management team. Those who work online, social media, and production. I have a management team and my wife is the head. She supervises the team and foresees their daily activities including the implementation of organigram, schedule plans to release songs. I have a Public Relations manager. In fact, I have a manager for everything,” he added.
